Teaching experience with a variety of media: drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, fibers, collage, mixed media, printmaking, photography, video, stop-motion animation, computer graphics, gardening, art history.

 

Student teacher mentor with College of Creative Studies, Detroit.  2007-2012

 

Assisted in grant writing, organizing and implementing fundraising and parental involvement activities, created school web page, brochures.  

Member of school's MicroSociety® implementation team, 1995-2012.  

Designed school murals, façades, logos, banners and forms.  Presenter at national, state and local conferences.

Served on school and district committees, assisted in writing district exit skills, outcomes and curriculum review.  Helped select text book and visual aids.     Presenter at local, state and national conferences.

Assisted with outdoor garden/classroom design, maintenance and gardening.
